    • Alternatives to incarceration for individuals suffering from mental illness and addiction

  • A REGIONAL APPROACH TO GOVERNMENT SERVICES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    • Proactively building coalitions between St. Louis City and St. Louis County

    • Bringing stakeholders to the table to address the impacts of regional fragmentation:

      • $750 million in duplicative spending

      • Stark differences in public health, safety, education and employment across the region, that often fall along racial lines

      • Lack of  consistent or standardized governmental procedures across 91 municipalities (e.g. process for obtaining a business license) and internal competition between municipalities for companies and employees

    • Gaining community input, studying best practices, and finding creative solutions that address St. Louis' unique needs

  • Economic growth & Prosperity

    • Leveraging her expertise and experience in the startup community to facilitate a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that helps small business owners succeed and attracts high-growth startup companies to the region

    • Pursuing economic growth opportunities that develop density in the urban core, while carefully evaluating how and when to use tax incentives to promote development projects

    • Supporting projects and organizations that make St. Louis a great place to live, work and play
